Arthur Magazine is featuring two of my Kelso Dunes photos as header art. Sweet.

Into The Green’s photographs from the full moon expedition to the Kelso Dunes are part of the second “Carnival of the Arid,” a survey of blogs featuring writing and photography from desert regions, coordinated by Coyote Crossing’s Chris Clark. This edition includes images of Andalucian Spaghetti Western settings, nearly abandoned remote-desert subdivisions and field notes from a birding expedition to Kuwait, just for starters. Check it out at Coyote Crossing.

Many thanks to Arik Roper for the fecund new header. So awesome.
Here’s what Into The Green was listening to last month while poring over all the lichen photos we took in North Carolina and Hawaii this summer.
My old, rarely-updated hiking blog On The Natural is going to be dead soon. I’m importing all the old posts here, to my new hiking/naturalist/photography/ecology blog Into The Green. More to come …
